4th Annual Honolulu Surf Film Festival The Honolulu Academy of Arts hosted the 4th Annual Surf Film Festival from July 8th to July 31st.  Featuring a wide variety of surf films, this festival is one of the best in the islands.  Guests of the Opening and Closing Night Ceremonies enjoyed Longboard Island Lagers and toasted another amazing year of surfing captured through the art of film making.	Napali 2nd Annual SUP Paddleboard Race, Kauai 17 mies of some of the most spectacular shoreline in the world...a hundred dedicated athletes...sunshine, wind, surf, and dolphins to guide them on their journey...celebrating with a cold Kona Brew...priceless...Ed Wheeler's smile says it all...
Molokai 2 Oahu Paddle Board World Championships 2011 The worlds best elite paddlers braved the Kaiwi Channel on Sunday, July 31, 2011.  They paddled 32 miles from Molokai for Maunalua Bay, Oahu and every one of the them was a winner.  Longboard Island Lager was proud to be at the finish to toast record times and stellar sportsmanship.	Ke Kani O Ke Kai- Waikiki Aquarium Summer Concert Series 2011 The Waikiki Aquarium recently hosted Ke Kani O Ke Kai, their summer concert series.  Guests enjoyed legendary Hawaiian music while lounging on the aquariun lawn under a blue sky and warm tropical breezes.  Ice cold Longboard Island Lagers were a highlight of the evening and contributed to the fund raising efforts.
6th Annual Naish Paddle Championships, Maui Hundreds of SUP and prone paddleboarders competed in the 6th Annual Naish Paddle Championships in Maui this July.  Chuck Patterson, Candice Appleby, and Ed Wheeler celebrate their amazing race with a frosty Longboard Island Lager.	Mormaii World Cup- Triple Crown of Stand Up Paddle 2011 Legendary watermen celerate at the finish of the Mormaii World Cup with a frosty Longboard Island Lager.  A brave group of athletes particiapted in the last race of the 2011 Triple Crown of Stand Up Paddle on July 16th.  They paddled 27 miles from Honolua Bay, Maui to Kaunakakai Harbor, Molokai.  Cheers to SUP!
Battle of the Paddle Hawaii 2011 Candice Appleby & Jenny Kalmbach dominated the women's Elite Stand Up Paddle events at the 2011 Battle of the Paddle Hawaii.	Taste of Hawaii 2011 The Rotary Club of Kapaa hosted the  23rd Annual Taste of Hawaii, the Ultimate Sunday Brunch, in beautiful Kauai on Sunday, June 5th.  Kona Brewing Company was honored to support this event voted "Best Community Event" several years running.  Mattson Davis and Steve Cole worked diligently to keep the Liquid Aloha flowing.
Sno-Kona Pond Skim Check out the thrills and spills at this year’s 2nd Annual Sno-Kona pond skim at Mt Hood Meadows in Oregon.	Kona Brew Fest Success! Kona Brewing Company hosted the 15th annual Kona Brewers Festival in March. The sold-out event included beers from 30 breweries, food from 25 restaurants, live music, hula and a Trash Fashion Show! The Kona Brewers Festival is always the second Saturday in March. Mark your calendar!
Kona Treks to Great American Beer Fest Each fall, our brewers travel some 3,300 miles to Denver, Colorado, to share Liquid Aloha with 46,000 craft beer aficionados! We've brought home numerous medals from the prestigious event - the largest gathering of breweries in the country. Visit our booth at this year's event for a little taste from the islands in a landlocked state!	Pro Surfer Jeff Silva - A Kona Brewing Ambassador Kona Brewing Company is proud to support Hawaii surf wiz Jeff Silva. A professional longboard surfer for seven years, Jeff will compete in the 2009 US Open of Surfing at Huntington Beach this July. Raised in Milolii, Hawaii, Jeff is also an expert stand up paddle boarder, skin diver and overall waterman. Here, he is pictured with one of his giant friends, a whale shark.
Lavaman Triathlon Heats Up Kona Brewing Company is a long-time supporter of the Lavaman Triathlon, raced each March on Hawaii's Big Island. CJ garnered global media coverage for his stand up paddle expedition to the mouth of the Kilauea Volcano lava flow! That's hot! Here he is, surfing some European waves.
